2020 CAR & BIKE SHOW
It’s that time of year again! Even with Covid-19, the city of Lubbock has approved us to have an event for the great citizens of Lubbock and surrounding communities. This year we are having a menudo cook-off combined with a trunk or treat car show. All proceeds of the car show will benefit Wrench It Forward.
From June of 2018 to September 1st of 2020 Wrench It Forward has done 260 repairs at $15.00 an hour for labor to those that qualify for our services. We also sell the parts to our clients at cost with no mark up and diagnose the vehicles at no cost.
Savings to WIF to the community
Diagnostic fees = $26,000.00
Parts = $9,351.48
Labor = $26,386.35
Total Savings = $61,737.83
Wrench It Forward has also had the privilege to award 12 vehicles to 12 families on the South Plains. This has truly been a blessing to be apart of.
Even with difficult times, Wrench It Forward is pressing on and still fundraising for our mission to help those in need.
This year we have partnered with Mi Kocina to have our annual car & bike show. Please join us for a day of fun and show off your favorite ride or just come out for a family-friendly fun day!

We are going to have a variety of local food trucks! We will have local vendors out here, so you could do a little shopping as well! We will have local car clubs coming to showcase their vehicles, they will also be doing a TRUNK or TREAT from 5pm to 8pm! Bring the family for a great time, we encourage that you wear your costumes! We will be doing a Dia de los Muertos theme! So we also encourage that you paint your faces as well!
We have some great Mariachis lined up for your entertainment! Lots of Talent! We will have DJ Lopez as the MC for the day!
Bring your own lawn chairs to sit out and relax! Come out and just enjoy a day of food, fun, and music!
